Ohio State University is delighted to offer the Morrill Scholars Programme for the academic year 2019-20. The program is designed to reward US students who demonstrate the highest academic excellence and potential.

The programme is available for high school seniors. The aim of the award is to support students who show commitment to both academics and diversity by excelling in the classroom and making a positive impact in their communities.

How to Apply

  • How to apply: If you are interested in this free study, you will need to apply for admission to the Ohio State University by November 1. After talking admission applicants can apply through the online processor.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, students must be ready to submit the application fee, test scores, transcripts, etc.
  • Admission Requirements: To apply for the program applicants must have a previous degree.
  • Language Requirement: Candidates must have excellent oral and written English language skills; proficiency will be verified.

The Morrill Scholarship has three award levels:

Distinction: Equals the value of the cost of attendance for both Ohio residents and nonresidents

Prominence: Equals the value of in-state tuition plus the nonresident surcharge for non-residents

Excellence: Equals the value of in-state tuition for Ohio residents
