Dear All,
This is just a helping out tip to all my people (from the continent Africa). Just a tip… Please please use spell checker when you apply for scholarships, both formally or informally or in forums like this; polish your grammar as much as possible, cause if at all possible scholarships are limited compared to the number people who are in need of them, so understanding the most probable language of your further study will help very much in the selection process. Apparently poor level of the English language is tolerable for citizens of countries where tertiary education is not given in English but in case of Ethiopia, Uganda and other countries that use English as a medium of instruction for tertiary education… it won’t stick, because you are listing all your qualifications there studied in English; and the text written here doesn’t fill the selector in confidence on whether the whole qualification is legit or good enough; I know some of you might say it’s none of my business; but I know there will be people out there who might benefit from this advise; and this is not an insult because I know how it is very easy to misspell even the words you know when you are typing quickly or in a hurry. So put that spell checker to use and good luck to you all! And this goes to all CVs and Cover letters too.
p.s: what pushed me to write this remark? Well almost all requests up there are misspelled and badly written.

Dear Sirs,
I have completed my graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology(CUET) in Bangladesh. My CGPA in graduation is 2.63 out of scale 4. Marks obtained in H.S.C.(equivalent to A – level) is 65.9% and in S.S.C.(equivalent to O-level) is 81.2%. If I have GRE score- 1300, would it be possible to get scholarship from any USA university for MS programme?
