    I have completed M.Sc. in Physics from tribhuvan University, Nepal. Now I am teaching to M.Sc. students at the same university. I cojmpleted GRE too and two research papers have been published. Since my country is a poor and developing one, we have to do hard labor in different fields. Even now, here is load shedding for 20 hours daily, probably none will believe it but it is the reality. For this reason, I am very appropriate candidate for the scholarship.

    I would like to train in the field of renewable energy since my interests are in Environmental Conservation and sustainable use of environmental resources.I have an Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science Technology and Management.
    It worries me when several natural habitats are destroyed under the argument of building dams to generate more energy and also when I hear of the intentions of our government to give away forests.This coupled with the fact that many are clearing the vast forests for charcoal generation,poses a great environmental threat.
    I work for a sewage treatment company where large volumes of sludge are generated and yet put to waste.With the biogas generation technology obtained, I am sure the sludge can be treated to generate the biogs energy which can be handy.

    I am not sure if all of you have really read the call for Scholars, but there are two things to be considered: Neither Ethiopia nor Nigeria is not in Central and Eastern Europe and the scholarship offers not a full coverage – even if you get it, you will need to contribute 4.500 EUR plus accommodation, travel to Austria, Hungary and Slovakia for two years.. Sorry dudes..

    I grew up in a poor rural set up in Kenya. I studied against all odds and proceeded to university. I studied Bsc in Appropriate Technology with bias to renewable energy. I attained 2nd class degree in lower division. I have worked in a renewable energy sector for the last one year and still counting. Currently we are running a World Bank Programme called Lighting Africa Development Market place which aims at eliminating kerosene based lighting in favour of small and affordable solar products. Other courses in addition to renewable energy I did during my period of study include, rural sociology and technology transfer, technology and environment, environmental engineering, among others.

    Do I qualify for a MSC in Renewable energy? I really need to give back to my community and this a great chance for me to pursue my dream.
