NICTA offers scholarships for exceptional PhD students working in ICT-related disciplines such as information systems, electrical engineering and computer science at a number of Victorian universities. Scholarships are currently available for students at the University of Melbourne, the University of Ballarat, Monash University, RMIT University, Deakin University and Swinburne University of Technology who are undertaking research projects in NICTA’s research areas.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue PhD program.

Study Subject: Scholarships are provided in the field of information systems, electrical engineering and computer science.

Scholarship Award: Australian $23,728 per year tax free, in fortnightly payments. Tuition fee scholarships are available for International students.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a Bachelor degree with first class honours, or equivalent and research proposal related to a NICTA research program; Australian and New Zealand citizens; Permanent residents of Australia; International Students.
