Nottingham Trent University is offering PhD Studentship at the School of Science and Technology. The successful applicant will work on the project entitled, “Nanotechnologies for the eye and potential treatments for cataract”.

Nottingham Trent University is a public university in Nottingham, England. It was founded as a new university in 1992 from Trent Polytechnic.

Course Level: Studentship is available for pursuing PhD programme within the School of Science & Technology.

Study Subject: Studentship is awarded to work on the project titled, “Nanotechnologies for the eye and potential treatments for cataract”.

Scholarship Award: The studentship will pay UK/EU fees and provide a maintenance stipend linked to the RCUK rate for up to three years. Applications from non-EU students are welcome, but a successful candidate would be responsible for paying the difference between non-EU and UK/EU fees. (Fees for 2017/18 are £12,900 for non-EU students and £4,195 for UK/EU students and are subject to annual increase.

Number of Scholarships: One PhD studentship is available.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: A first class or upper second class UK B.Sc. (Hons) in biology or biomedical sciences.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: The minimum English language proficiency requirement for candidates who have not undertaken a higher degree at a UK HE institution is IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in all skills).
