I am extremely interested in applying my knowledge and experience to the PhD position in your lab. I recently read about it on the Nature jobs website. My education during B.Sc. of agricultural sciences (major in animal production), previous work and training experience, and my master degree in animal nutrition well to excel in this position.
I have excelled academically at Assiut University, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 84.89% with the 1st honor degree in my undergraduate studying and receiving numerous academic awards and scholarships throughout my undergraduate and ostgraduate studying. In 2006, I have got the M.Sc. from Assiut University. And M.Sc. thesis is entitled «Canola meal versus undecorticated cottonseed cake and soybean meal as a protein supplement in growing lambs rations”. Nowadays, I am in Thessaloniki, Greece to collect some data for my PhD project. In addition, I have eight years of experience in different animal production laboratories, animal field work , which has given me the ability to respond correctly to challenging situations,, be patient, hard worker, and act politically with different personalities. I am eager to bring to your group the benefit of my experience, qualifications and skills which are nicely fit with your multidisciplinary project needs.
Please note that my CV exhibits my experience and accomplishments relating to the duties of this position. Having worked for the Assiut University as assistant lecturer in animal production department since Nov 2000 till the present time, attended many workshops through the Faculty and Leadership Development Project, Ministry of Higher Education, at Egypt. I gained a wide variety of communication and soft skills. These presentation skills, written and oral communication with undergraduate students, other scientific groups, community members and leaders, responding to students inquiries and interactive participating in inter-groups seminars.
