I am a MSc holder in Pest Management from the University of London- Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine. I have been working at the MSIRI – Entomology Dept. for the past 22 years. My work assignments were focused essentially on IPM of major sugarcane and potato insect pests with emphasis on biological control including microbial control. I am presently looking for a scholarship to do my PhD related to above areas and especially on chemical and molecular ecology of insect pests to have an understanding of interactions among the insect pest/parasitoids/predators/plant in order to optimize control of our major pests.

I obtained first class first in honours level.Now i am going to submit my M.Phil thesis named Phytochemical investigation on oyster mushroom(pleurotus ostreatus) from Dhaka University, Bangladesh.
