Eligibility

BuHu offers the only PhD programme within a 6* rated built environment research institute in the UK. BuHu`s success is due to:

Within BuHu, protocols are designed and applied to ensure students have sufficient time, authority and responsibility to conduct and develop their activities. This mechanism also helps to maximise the opportunities to invest in for the benefit of students under the mentoring of senior researchers. Nurturing of students includes engagement on existing projects and involvement with embryonic publications.

Dealing with a PhD is a complex and rigorous exercise and a PhD thesis must represent a significant contribution to a particular field of knowledge. Current BuHu students are working towards PhD qualifications in a wide range of research topics.
