The laboratory of molecular biotechnology of the University of Lausanne has an opening for a

Maître assistant suppléant

research and teaching position, at 100% occupancy

The laboratory focuses on gene regulation and expression from fundamental and applied perspectives. Illustration of current research interest can be found at www.unil.ch/biotech, or in Girod et al.,  (2007) Nature Methods 4, 747-753; Plasari et al. (2009) Molec. Cell. Biol. 29:6006-6017.

PhD in biology, biochemistry of related fields, or MD/PhD.

Experience required in the field of gene expression and regulation in eucaryotic cells and organisms, as demonstrated during several years of postdoctoral training and in publications.

A previous research in a molecular and cell biology and/or biotechnological environment is also desired. Knowledge of the French language would be advantageous.

April 1st, 2010 or later
