I have done Master’s Degree in 2 subjects (Economics and Rural Development) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2003 and 2005 respectively. As a consultant, I have 3 years’ work experience in developmetn sector especially NGOs sector and contineuing in an esteem Development Management Consultancy (Nepal). (my dissertations of these Master Degree are also related to Development Sector which are 1. Socio-economic impact of Hydropower Project, 2. Situation of Rural Poverty 3. Impact assessment of a Citizen Empowerment Project launched for Single Women). Besides, I have experience of social science research and I am a member of marginalised/ehtnic community.
I have keen interest for doing Ph. D. in development studies with focusing research on Nepal’s Development. So, I am seeking scholarship.

I am an instructor teaching community development and other social science subjects in a state university in the Philippines. I am now 49 years of age but unfortunately, I still do not have a master’s degree despite the fact that I have long started enrolling in the Masters degree (MS in Community Development) here in our own Graduate School due to successive pregnancies and the difficulty to have my subjects offered because I am the only enrollee in this course.

I am very much willing to pursue this course (or any related field) because this is a highly relevant course in a poverty-stricken province like mine (Northern Samar). Furthermore, there are many enrollees of Bachelor of Science in Community Development in the school where I teach. However, I could not get any scholarship because of my age and the less priority of scholarship donors given to this field.

Could you help me? Thank you!

I have great passion for human developmental programmes in all phases, I have been involved in NGOs activities since 1981@age15,where as member of the Boys Brigade,we served the community voluntarily and postively influenced our peers,this happened when i was in the secondary (high)school.In my university days, I joined the Association of visiting secretaries whosse primary aim is to serve in moral development and eradicating social vicesamong all the categories of students,starting from elementary age to the tetiary and vocational institutions, it was an international group popular in the West Africa with the headquarters in Nigeria, this affords me to be involved in various activities in form of rural,academic, social, physical,moral etc prsentations within and without the country. I have a Bachelor degree in Political Science with a final research paper on DELIVERY OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN NIGERIA, from Lagos State univ. and in my quest to professionalise my self and develop a career in NGO & Development studies, with all the constraint of funds and non availability of such programme in Nigeria where i domicile, I took a Master degree in Political Sciience ,with special interest in Developmnent studies of Civil society in governance,frm University of Lagos. My great desire is to be well grounded in Development studies so i can be effective in contrbuting a great to the development activities in Africa in achieving the MDGs. I have been in search of where to acquire this additional knowledge to make me a professional in this field.
I wll be fufilled if only you can consider me for studies this year in whatever level you deem fit i’m able to fit in NOW.
