PhD position for international students at Hartmut Hoffmann-Berling International Graduate School of Molecular and Cellular Biology

Job Description: Project 1 will be concerned with the analysis of the differential regulation of cell cycle in slowly and rapidly proliferating neural stem cells and how this regulation is affected by aging.
Project 2 will involve the development of new strategies for the isolation of neural precursors at different stages of neural lineage progression. This will involve both the use of reporter genes as well as cell-surface antigens.

Profile of candidate‘s qualification:
Applicants should have work experience in at least 1 of the following: Gene expression analysis, ESC/IPSC cultures, molecular biology.
