A research group dedicated to investigations on benthic carbon turnover and solute exchange in a climatic context is being established at the Institute of Biology, University of Southern Denmark.

The successful candidate will explore the opportunity of using the novel aquatic eddy correlation technique for investigating and assessing metabolism in arctic coastal sediments and sea-ice. It is foreseen that the successful candidate – after a four to six months training period at the University of Southern Denmark – will spend 12-14 months at the newly established Greenland Climate Research Centre (GCRC) in Nuuk.
