The studies will be aimed at the investigation, understanding and development of new types of electronic and light-emitting devices within the emerging field of organic electronics. We are currently working with two main groups of devices using organic conjugated polymers and small molecules as the active material: field-effect transistors and light-emitting electrochemical cells. It is, however, possible that the research will be expanded into related areas of organic electronics in the future.
