Description : A PhD position is available at the department of Computer Science of the K.U.Leuven (Belgium) for a motivated scientist with an interest in relational learning, text processing and image analysis. The title of the project is “Relational Learning for Text and Image”. One position focuses on text, the other position focuses on image analysis. These positions are targeted at candidates from non-EEA countries (European Economic Area = European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Applications are invited from enthusiastic graduates with an excellent study track record. We offer a challenging research environment and an intense experience leading to a PhD degree.

Had B.Sc(Mathematics, 1991) and M.Sc(Statistics, 2006), presently full-time staff of Federal University of technology, P.M.B. 65 MINNA-Nigeria. Applicant teaches General statistics, biostatistics, experimental design and Biometrics at both undergraduate and postgraduate level . In addition, his present post as biometrician in the Sch. Of Agric and Agric. Tech(SAAT),he analyses research data using STAT packages like SAS, SPSS, MSTATC MINITAB, MICROSOFT EXCEL and assists in interpretation for both staff and students. I had accumulate 12 years teaching experience. Proposing a PhD in Statistics/Biometry with Scholarship in abroad. Please assist. Thanks

i am doing M.S(by Research) from Anna University, Chennai. Four and half years got completed.But still the degree is not awarded. I am fed up and losing confidence. Still there is no sign of completion.Can anyone suggest a university in india where i can do integrated ph.d so that the whole process should be completed within 2 years.If such an option is available i can leave this M.S programme from anna university.
