The prospective candidate will carry out European-funded research (FINELUMEN Marie Curie ITN Network, FP7, contract n. PITN-GA-2008-215399) in the area of luminescent nanomaterials. The aim of the research work is to take advantage of the confinement of luminescent molecules (inorganic complexes and organic fluorophores) in hollow
nanoarchitectures. The research work is established in a stimulating and creative multidisciplinary environment including world-leading laboratories within Europe in academia and industry.
