Scholarship Description: Depending on your interest, you can work on two different application: (1) eye development in Drosophila melanogaster; and (2) oncogenesis. For both applications we have generated different types of genome-scale data using microarrays and next-generation sequencing (Exomes, RNA-Seq, Dnase-Seq). You also have the opportunity to perform wet-lab experiments to generate new data sets and to follow-up your computational predictions.
