Description : A Ph. D. position is available in the KVANTTI group, Low Temperature Laboratory, Helsinki University of Technology. The group is doing research in fields such as quantum information and quantum-level effects in superconducting devices, quantum coherent matter, and interaction of electromagnetic fields with nano-structured materials. Although the core of our activity is experimental, people with predominantly theoretical interests in these topics are welcome to join us. The position is open starting beginning of 2009; however, depending on the particular situation of the student other arrangements can be accommodated.
