My name is Deginet Tebekew,I have graduated with M.sc degree in physics from Addis Ababa university on August 03 2008.I am now working as a lecturer in Bahirdar university.I have also a good background in condensed matter physics. I have done my masters thesis on a title “Temperature Dependent optical properties of silicon Nano-clusters”. I have a research interest to work on this silicon nanostructres . suggest me the way to apply and secure scholarship for a PhD studentship position. Thanks very much

I am materials science and engineering just pass out graduate. In my final year project I have done, measure the hardness by using ultrasonic attenuation in tool steel samples. Finally I choose formula for measure the hardness by using ultrasonic attenuation in tool steel samples. I will try to develop this equation for all metals. In my project I got better knowledge with related NDT testing method. and also I have deeply understood the quantum mechanism and statistical mechanics. I have good knowledge of quantum mechanisms , statistical mechanics and relativity. Also my project I try to further developed to measure the phase transition point of the metal and finally i try to do measure the melting point of the metal by using ultrasonic attenuation. That is huge impact of science.

I have good creative knowledge to doing with related science and technology. Also I have very much liked with related nanotechnology field. But I am very sorry. I think my English knowledge is not good. But I can understand any kind of thing in English and i can work with any kind of poeple. Also I must develop my English knowledge with in three or four month . my university GPA is 2.58.

In my research project I have developed my research ability. So I like to do in research in materials engineering related nanotechnology . if you can gave to me a chanse do research(/Phd), i wiil be greatful.

My Final year research paper selected to ERU compitition in sri lanka. it will be published. Thank you.
