PhD Position in Time Sensitive Communication and Applications, Denmark

The Technical University of Denmark invites application for a PhD project in the area of Time Sensitive Networks and Applications. The project is placed within the Communication Technology Section at DTU Fotonik.

The aim of this PhD project is to study the increasing focus on latency and delay variations in communication infrastructure driven by applications with visual content and the growing real-time M2M communication (IoT).

The Technical University of Denmark, often simply referred to as DTU, is a university in Kongens Lyngby, just north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Course Level: Position is available for pursuing PhD programme.

Scholarship Award: De loon- en afspraakvoorwaarden zijn consistent met de huidige Nederlandse regels voor Ph.D. degree researchers. The period of employment is 3 years.

Scholarship can be taken in Denmark

Eligibility: The candidate must have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering. A solid background communication technology, protocols, network architecture, performance optimization and similar is important.

Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a master’s degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Good communication skills in written and spoken English are a must.
