The Okanagan School of Engineering is providing the PhD Position with Scholarship in Geotechnical Engineering in Canada.
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Civil, Mining, or Geological Engineering. Knowledge of rock mechanics is necessary. Candidates with field experience (surface or underground) or advanced geotechnical instrumentation will be given preference.

( votes)The student will work on the development of new techniques for measuring, mapping, interpreting, and modelling geological structures using digital terrain models derived from photogrammetry or lidar as the primary input data.
The scholarship funding is only available to students with a Masters GPA greater than 88% and with excellent English communication skills. A track record of quality publications in English is highly desirable.
