Projects
Work with research teams in different research projects for producing new applied products, or improving industrial processes such as:
•Participation in the National Campaign for Development of Textile Industry Financed by Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (2004-2008). This Campaign is based on a technology Roadmap. The latter aims at achieving identified market, industry and technology goals of textile industry. The campaign sheds insight on importance of textile industry in Egypt. It brings into focus the wide performance targets for developing and facing competition in international and local markets. Emphasis is placed on cost and productivity targets; market targets; environmental targets; chemical-water-energy conservation targets; health and safety targets; work force targets.
•Participation in the project entitled “Development of Materials using Natural Wastes for Pollutant Removal” (2005-2007).
•Participation in the project entitled “The Use of Modern Technologies in the Textile Wet Processing and Production of Technical Textiles to Upgrade Textile Industry (2008-2010).

•Chemical modification of polysaccharides such as chitosan, cellulose
•Surface modification of textiles using nanotechnolgy.
•Preparation of hyperbranched polymers and its application for medical purposes.
•Preparation of dendrimers such as polyamidoamine, polypropylene imine, polyethylene imine.
•Regioselective of polysacharides such as chitosan, and oligosaccharides such as mannopyrannosides.
•Chemical modifiction of dendrimers by different oligo-saccharides such as mono and di, and chemical modification of the surface of glycodendrimers by DOTA, NTA to used as ligands to some metals such as Cu,Ni,Ag,Gd,Au.
•Supramolecular components such as cyclodextrins, dendrimers, and calixarenes.
•Chemical modifiction of dendrimers by oligosaccharides, and chemical modification of the surface of glycodendrimers by DOTA, NTA to used as ligands to some metals such as Cu,Ni,Ag,Gd,Au.
