The research will investigate the role of winter wheat to nesting success at multiple spatial scales. Preliminary data suggest that nests in winter wheat fields may have high survival rates, and funding is now in place to conduct an intensive investigation of factors influencing nest survival in landscapes where a winter cereals program is in place. The student’s research advisor will be Jay Rotella. The work will be done in close conjunction with biologists and GIS specialists at the Great Plains Regional Office of Ducks Unlimited.

i graduated at western mindanao university and graduated in bachelor in education major in biology, i have also units in accountancy and master in public administration, and also a full pledge master degree in science education. i was interested in the study of ducts because we have poultry farm and we take care of ducks and chicken, although our business is still new in our city. but i have experience of taking care of these animals. my experience as a researcher would also help find out the problems related to this project and would therefore highly contribute to the success of the research since i have also experience in statistics computation manually and in the computer using SPSS computer program to easily compute the data using computer.
