I have a Masters degree in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Botswana. My area of research field was in climate and my dissertation entitled “ANOMALIES IN THE AFRICAN CLIATE SYSTEM: THE INFLUENCE OF LARGE-SCALE TROPOSPHERIC DYNAMICS”.

I wish to further my studies for PhD level, but I don’t have funds. I therefore wish to apply for a scholarship from your college.

It is Amare Shiberu from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia of age 33. I hold my BSc in natural science from Addis Ababa University of Ethiopia-East Africa. I also graduated from the technology faculty of the same University with an MSc degree in Environmental Engineering in July, 2008. Currently, I’m working as an expert in the Ethiopian Cleaner Production Center of the national Ministry of Science and Technology.

I have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed (Hons.)) with Mathematics as teaching subject from the Open university of Tanzania (O.U.T), Tanzania; and a Master of Educational Management and Administration (MEMA) from University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania.

I have teaching experience of nine years in Secondary schools of Tanzania. My MEMA Dissertation was on “School Community Perception on Effectiveness of School Board in Enhancing Secondary School Performance in Tanzania”.

I have a Master of Science in Zoology (Applied Parasitology) from the university of Nairobi, Kenya and a Bachelor of Education in Science (Botany and Zoology) from Kenyatta University, Kenya.

I have research experience of two yeras at the Institute of Primate Research at Karen in Nairobi Kenya. My MSc. thesis was on ‘ The Pathological Effect Of Schistosoma mansoni On Experimentally -Infected Balb c Mice And The Subsequent Immunological Effect on the Offspring”. I am also a part-time lecturer in Zoology at Jommo Kenyatte university of Science and Technology in Kenya.
