March 10, 2008The position is part of an international research project aiming at increasing the fundamental knowledge of wood fibres and their behaviour as reinforcements in composite materials. The position involves several of the following tasks:
The applicant is required to have a M. Sc. degree (or an equivalent degree) within the topics of materials science and modelling of materials properties, preferable in the field of composite materials. You are expected to be good in written and oral scientific communication in English and to have experience within several of the following topics:
The terms of employment will be in accordance with those of the scientific staff at universities. The Ph.D. grant is limited to three years.

I am M.S student of mechanical manufacturing engineering in the T.M.U (Tarbiat modares University) of Tehran-Iran.
I have 4+years experience to working with catia (Sheet metal, Core & cavity design, Part design, Assembly, Free style, Drafting, Shape Design, Analysis & simulation, mold Tooling design , Machining , DMU Mockup), solid work, power mill (NC-File), Mold flow (FEM-plastics), Deform (forging-machining).
I have an experience to simulating die wear in the forging process, Tool wear in the turning, boring, milling and heat treatment simulation (tempering-CCT-TTT).
My master project is bonding metal to composite simulation with ABAQUS.
Because of my interest in getting more knowledge about composite material and my abilities working with ABAQUS i seek your help in this regard
