Scholarship Description: University of CopenhagenThe Center for Quantum Devices at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, announces the opening of a PhD position available in theoretical investigations and design of devices for quantum information processing.  The research will be carried out in close collaboration with the experimental activities in the center and aims at developing quantum algorithms for information stored in spin qubits or Majorana parity qubits in hybrid superconductor/semiconductor devices.

What does it cover? Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central organization. Currently, starting salaries are about 25,000 DKK (Euro 3,330) per month for Ph.D. students starting with a master´s degree – plus 17.1 % pension contribution.
