PhD Scholarship -Motorcycle Barrier Impacts

FACULTY OF SCIENCE
NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre

Scholarship: $50K per year to a maximum of 3.5 years.
The NSW Injury Risk Management Research Centre (IRMRC)
at UNSW is inviting applications from suitably qualified
Engineering graduates for a PhD scholarship to research
motorcycle impacts with roadside and median barriers.

The research project involves analysis of the causes and
biomechanics of motorcycle injury crashes involving roadside
barrier structures, and the development of engineering
solutions to counteract harmful barrier properties.

This is an industry funded project and the successful applicant
would be expected to commence immediately in 2008.

Applicants should request a copy of the Scholarship Information
Package containing the selection criteria and should
systematically address these criteria in their application.
Applications close: 5 September 2008

I am an Ethiopian and 36. I got M.A. in Educational Planing and Management rom Addis Ababa University 4 years back. Currently I am working at the capacty of Education and Training Manager in one of the international NGOs working in Ethiopia. I am, however, much interested in quality higher studies than work.
