PhD Scholarships 2009 – University of Hull
The University of Hull: To celebrate the University’s 80th Anniversary, the University is offering 18 full-time PhD Scholarships to home and EU students. Applications are sought from suitably-qualified people wishing to pursue research leading to PhD status under the supervision of leading researchers.

The research programmes will be integrated with training in accordance with Research Council specifications and accredited to the level of additional qualifications (Postgraduate Masters, Certificate and Diploma in Research Training). Successful applicants will become members of the Graduate School and the vibrant research community, supported by its modern study facilities and developmental activities.
Each full-time PhD Scholarship will include fees at the ‘home/EU’ student rate and maintenance (£13,290 in 2009/10) for three years, depending on satisfactory progress. Funding for conference attendance will also be available.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have graduated in the field of agriculture and specialized in the field of agriculture economics. After the graduation I worked few years and soon I saw the deteriorating nature of the economy of the country that is based on agriculture. Mean time I could observe several other negative consequences that are based on agriculture production. Finally I came in to a conclusion that the agriculture based on organic production will be the most appropriate. Hence I foucused my further atension on it. Unfortunatly this subject area is not in our university curiculums and there are no graduate or post graduate degrees offered in this field in the country.
I have done masters in the field of Crop Science and looking a scholarsip oppurtunuty for Ph.D in Organic Agriculture that can implement some activitivities in my mother country after the graduation.
