PhD scholarships in the Spring of 2009: A number of PhD scholarships are available for studies at the DTU Informatics in the Spring of 2009.
The subject of the PhD thesis must be within one of the main research areas of the institute:
- Algorithms and logic
- Image Analysis and Computer Graphics
- Embedded Systems Engineering
- Intelligent Signal Processing and ICT
- Language-Based Technology
- Mathematical Statistics
- Scientific Computing
- Software Engineering
- System-on-Chip
- Systems Security
Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.
The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in the DTU PhD programme for Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.

The applications must be submitted in collaboration with a potential supervisor. The student is responsible for contacting a potential supervisor and asking for an endorsement.
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students.
