Scholarship Description: Scholarships are available to support motivated students towards the PhD degree, in the area of intelligent systems, with applications including bioinformatics, data mining, optimization, and image processing. Singapore is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city located in the heart of Southeast Asia. With a multi-ethnic population of 4.3 million, Singapore has a strong tradition of welcoming professionals from all over the world to work and live in the city. The country is dedicated to long-term investments in education and infrastructure. Over the years, Singapore has built up an international reputation as a hub for world-class education and research. Nanyang Technological University is a top-ranking university according to Times World University Rankings.

What does it cover? scholarship includes:
-Attractive stipend for 4 years which can support you comfortably, i.e., SGD 24,000 annually, to be increased to SGD 30,000 after passing Qualifying Examination (USD 1 = SGD 1.2 approximately);
-Full support for tuition fees for 4 years of PhD studies;
-One-time SGD 1,000 Settling-in Allowance;
-One-time Airfare Grant of SGD 1,500.
