PhD Student Position in Tumor Biology – Germany

PhD student positions are available in the newly established Department of Molecular Medicine, Interfaculty Institute of Biochemistry, on two projects in tumor biology dealing with
(i) signal transduction and gene regulation in apoptosis and senescence, and
(ii) characterization of a novel inhibitor (IkB) protein of transcription factor NF-kB.
Ample laboratory space and a substantial financial base are being secured. Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience. Successful candidates will have strong backgrounds in molecular and cell biology, immunology or experience in working with transgenic and knock-out mice.
