PhD student position

to be filled in early summer 2008. The work will address the signaling mechanisms and pathways responsible for NF-kB activation in response to DNA damage. The Institute (http://www.uniklinikum-giessen.de/bio/) offers the opportunity to work in an interactive and dynamic setting and is well equipped. Preferred scientific expertise is in one of the following areas: analysis of signal transduction and gene expression, chromatin regulation or cell biology. Participation in teaching Biochemistry to medical students in German is required.
