ASP at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) Berlin invites application for doctoral studentship in Germany. Candidate must hold an excellent Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in political sciences, economics as well as environmental sciences and policy.

Duration: Grant is offered for 3 years. The position involves full-time presence at MCC.
Value: Salary for the PhD position is according to the German TV-L (E13, 50 % position).
-The successful candidate has a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and will hold an excellent Master’s Degree (or equivalent).
-The successful candidate is able to demonstrate the potential for excellence in research in the above-mentioned research areas.
-She or he has a good command of written and spoken English, is highly motivated, open-minded and willing to work as a team player in an interdisciplinary context.
-Suitable candidates ideally have some background in political sciences, economics as well as environmental sciences and policy.
-Experience in science-policy interaction and related research is an asset.
