This funding scheme will benefit all new international students intending to pursue a postdoctoral research degree programme at the school. The grant aims to support them in pursuing their postgraduate study projects or research activities within a Quebec higher education institution.

Eligibility            

• Eligible Countries: Brazil, India, Israel, China, Mexico and all other countries.
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• For doctoral students: you must already be admitted by a research director or registered in a full-time doctoral program at Polytechnique Montréal.
• Must meet all the eligibility conditions on the competition’s closing date (separate date to be confirmed for students preselected by the CSC).
• Must have been pre-selected by an academic institution or by Synchronex (for CCTTs) on the Québec-China scholarship and must be pre-selected by the CSC.

Benefits      

The Polytechnique Montréal will provide an award amount in the following manner:

• The annual value of the Research Masters (VM) scholarship is $20,000. The maximum allowable amount is 6 installments (6 sessions) totaling $40,000.
• The annual value of the Doctoral Research Fellowship (V1, 1B, 1I, 1IS, 1W) is $25,000. The maximum allowable amount is 9 installments (9 sessions) totaling $75,000. It is also possible to obtain an extension of up to 12 months.
• The annual value of the postdoctoral fellowship (V2, 2B, 2I) is $35,000. The maximum allowable amount is 3 installments (one year) totaling $35,000.
• The value of the short-term research or professional development scholarship (V3, 3B, 3I, 3IS, 3W) is $3,000 per month. The maximum allowable amount is 4 installments (4 months) totaling $12,000Apply Now
