Position for Ph.D. Student Molecular Cell Biology, Germany

Position for Ph.D.-Student at the University of Bonn: A Postdoc position or two Ph.D. student positions are available in the laboratory of ‘Molecular Cell Biology’ at the Neurocenter of Bonn
University. The work is focused on the molecular and cellular biology of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Projects include investigations on the regulatory pathways and subcellular trafficking of proteases (secretases) involved in AD (recent publications: Prager et al. (2007) J. Biol. Chem. 282, 14083; Wahle at al. (2006) J. Neurosci. 26, 12838; Walter (2006) Neurodeg. Dis. 3, 247). We seek for candidates with strong background in molecular cell biology or biochemistry (of lipids). Candidates with experience in breeding and analysis of experimental mice are specifically encouraged to apply. The position is supported by the European School of Neuroscience.
