Applications are invited on plain paper with detailed bio-data from candidates interested to join as Junior Research Assistant (temporary) to an interdisciplinary project investigating the interaction between the recombinant kinesin-II and their cargoes on “Molecular Interaction Analysis of Motor Proteins and their Cargoes”
The candidate is required to have a first class Master’s degree in any branch of Biology, Chemistry or related subjects from a recognized university/institution and a good overall academic record. Experience with the microbal culture techniques, protein chemistry and NMR analysis of samples is desirable. Candidates with CSIR, DBT, ICMR or other such fellowships are also encouraged to apply.
Duration: One post temporary for one year.
The applications are to be sent by post to the Establishment Officer (D), TIFR or by e-mails to Prof. Krishanu Ray, (krishanu@tifr.res.in), on or before July 21, 2010.
The selected candidates will be called for an interview at TIFR, Mumbai on July 30, 2010.
