Position of Junior Research Fellow in Dharmsinh Desai University, India

Job Description: The applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow for the research project entitled “A novel route for Synthesis of Silica supported Metal Sulfonates Solid Acid Catalysts and their Applications” sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The project duration is three years and the essential qualification and job descriptions are as follows –

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic). NET/ GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Job Requirements:

  • To do extensive experimentation on synthesis, characterization and application of the solid acid catalysts under the supervision of Dr. M.K. Mishra, Department of Chemistry & Shah-Schulman Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology.
  • He should be capable in writing research papers, patents and reports and in documentation.

Fellowship amount: Rs 12,000/- per month for 2 years and 14,000/- per month for third year.
