A Post-Doc position with an option for habilitation is available at the Section Molecular Wood Biotechnology and Technical Mycology at the B?sgen-Institute of the Georg-August University G?ttingen

We are looking for a

Post-Doc
- Salary level 13 TV-L-

with a strong background in molecular biology and/or biochemistry with an interest in fruiting body formation in basidiomycetes, wood decay by fungi, secondary metabolite production and/or in biotechnology of fungal enzymes. The possibility for developing an own research area is given. The successful candidate is expected to teach in wood biotechnology and mycology.

The position will be first for three years but with a possibility of extension. Starting date: 1.12.2008.

Our group is embedded in an excellent environment for fungal research with several other groups at the university focussing in research on aspects of fungal development, ecology, genetics and molecular biology.
