Post Doctoral Fellow-Energy-Economy Modeling and Energy Policy,Masdar Institute of Science and Technology,UAE
The project is part of the UAE Ecological Footprint Initiative (EFI), which is a national multi-stakeholder project under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and Water that is being executed by Abu Dhabi Global Environment Data Initiative (AGEDI) and the Emirates Wildlife Society (EWS) in association with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), in partnership with the Global Footprint Network, the co-creators of the Ecological Footprint concept. The Masdar Institute is leading research efforts in areas of Footprint methodology, scenario development, policy advice and capacity development.
The position is for 12 months and may be extended contingent upon the Fellow’s performance. Candidates should hold a PhD and should have relevant research experience in energy systems and economic modeling. Salary and compensation will be internationally competitive and based upon experience.
