Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2009

Applications are invited for 5 Post-doctoral fellowships; 2 of which will be for in-service teachers. Fellowship amount will be Rs.28,000/-(consolidated) per month. Full pay protection will, however, be given to in-service teachers. Fellowship will also cover the infrastructural facilities available at the Centre along with the cost of software, field trip and other contingencies within the limit of Rs. 50,000/-p.a.

Tenure of the fellowship will initially be for 1 year extendable by 1 more year on the basis of appraisal.

Fellowship awardee is expected to research on a theme related to human development.

Eligibility: Ph.D in any of the disciplines of social sciences or humanities. Upper age limit should be 45 years.

How to apply: Each application should accompany the bio-data of the candidate along with a write-up of about 2000 words on the proposed research theme and the abstract of the Ph.D thesis.
