As the leading research center in Europe in the field of environmental health (the connecting discipline between biomedicine and environmental research), scientists in the Helmholtz Center Munich analyse fundamental processes of disease development, and the damage to, as well as the defence and compensatory mechanisms of, organisms.

Job Description
- Analysis of the molecular mechanisms of axon guidance during development
- Analysis of the molecular interactions between different nerve fiber systems using cell culture techniques as well as loss- and gain-of-function experiments in mouse and chicken model organisms
Your Qualifications
- PhD in biology or neurobiology
- Strong background in developmental biology, anatomical methods and molecular biology
- high scientific interest
- ability to work independently and responsibly as part of a team
