Cell Lineage Tracing in Synovial Joint Formation
Funded by the Arthritis Research Campaign, this 3-year project aims at carrying out a comprehensive study of the origin of joint structures during development. Much of the work will be carried out in Vienna under the instruction of Dr. Christine Hartmann and at Cardiff within the Connective Tissue Biology Group with Prof. C. W. Archer.
You should have a PhD and relevant technical experience in molecular techniques involving complex cloning strategies and experience with vertebrate systems preferably mammalian. The Institute of Pathology in Vienna has world-class facilities in order to carry such studies and is internationally renowned. The School of Biosciences at Cardiff gained a 5A rating in the last RAE. The School has excellent facilities for research on mammalian genetics and connective tissue biology.
The post is fixed for 36 months.
Salary: ?26666-?31840 per annum.
