A post-doctoral research position is available to assist in the development of the translational infection and immunity agenda in the Centre for Research in Translational Biomedicine. Working with Professor Simon Jackson, the post will involve applications of the cellular and molecular immunobiology of endotoxin.
The work will also involve elucidating novel host factors in the responses to endotoxin and the development of new diagnostic assays for endotoxin and related microbial molecular patterns.

We are seeking a high-calibre researcher with experience of the cellular and molecular biology of endotoxin and in the development of diagnostic assays for endotoxin and related molecules. You should have a proven record of relevant publications and evidence of effective research management skills. You should hold a PhD or equivalent in Life Sciences with recent experience of relevant techniques.
