The Center for Liberal Arts and Society at Franklin & Marshall College invites nominations of promising junior scholars whose research embodies the ideals of liberal arts scholarship and the values of liberal learning, including inter- and trans-disciplinary practice, critical thinking, and broad relevance to fundamental human questions. Three fellowships of $1000 will be awarded to recent PhD’s in any discipline in the liberal arts and sciences whose research relates to the theme of “Resonance.” Fellows will present their work at an inaugural 3-day symposium for emerging scholars, to be held March 5-7, sponsored by the Center for Liberal Arts and Society and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
