Postdoc position in Radio Science and Engineering (August 1, 2010-December 31, 2012)
Job Description : The post-doctoral position is an appointment that offers an opportunity to qualify for further research positions within academia (or industry), including the Aalto University tenure track. The appointment is for 2 years and 5 months (August 1, 2010 – December 31, 2012) of full-time employment. Majority of your working time is devoted to your own research, which may be according to your individual plan or related to the ongoing research of the groups of RAD. Your work includes also taking part in supervision of doctoral students and MSc thesis students. Class-room teaching of undergraduate and post-graduate students may also be included to a small extent. You will attend international conferences and meetings, where you will present your own work and establish useful contacts with other researchers.
The monthly salary is according to the Aalto University salary system including a fixed part according to the requirement level and a varying part according to the personal performance. Typically the total monthly salary is 3300-4300 euros.
