August 17, 2008Postdoctoral Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship Australia: A newly established laboratory at Charles Sturt University in the rural setting of Wagga Wagga in Australia is seeking candidates who wish to apply for a Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers (http://www.humboldt-foundation.de/pls/web/wt_show.text_page?p_text_id=2983) to work on an exciting research project. You will have cell culture experience and be proficient in standard molecular biology techniques. The project involves the identification of proteins which interact with PGRMC1. It is envisaged that during this project you will be exposed to site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression in mammalian cell lines, proteomics techniques, monoclonal antibody production, western blotting, quantitative PCR, and immune fluorescence. The project supervisor (Dr. Cahill) has spent many years in Germany and is fluent in German.
