APPLICATIONS are invited for a postdoctoral position within the Department of Nephrology at the Medical School Hannover (MHH).
The Department is enjoying an outstanding research infrastructure at an internationally competitive level. Our group is a young team interested in the characterization of novel mechanisms contributing to acute and chronic renal disease. Special emphasis in the open project will lay on the development of renal fibrosis in the aging kidney.

YOUR PROFILE. Your interest in experimental research is essential. You have a strong background in cell and molecular biology techniques, experience in working with genetic mouse models and interest in renal physiology and disease. You should be ambitious, highly motivated and able to work independently. You have excellent communication and team-building skills and experience in supervising students and technical staff.

WHAT WE OFFER. We offer interesting projects with the opportunity to perform basic and translational research on the highest scientific level and under excellent infrastructural conditions. Local and international collaborations will be part of your work.
