-Documented contributions in at least one of the areas: Bioinformatics or Systems Biology.
-Proven skills in applying statistics in data analysis Perl One of: C, C++ or Java General knowledge about methods applied in biological sequence analysis

Scholarship Description: The outset of the post doc project is to correlate the ncRNA candidates to protein coding genes through RNA-RNA and RNA-protein interactions and possible co-expression patterns. This will be applied in the context of gene interactions (STITCH) based on information from multiple sources. Furthermore, literature mining can be included as an additional layer of seeking information about the ncRNA candidates. The project will be in collaboration with Lars Juhl Jensen at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen. The post may include teaching to a limited extent.
