Job Description: A research consortium formed by BioVersys GmbH, ETH Zurich and ZHAW Wädenswil is looking for highly motivated individuals, which are willing to integrate into a dynamic team and want to be part of an early phase startup company in the scope of the CTI-project: “Identification of novel targets and drug candidates against multi-drug resistant bacteria”.
The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of working with microbial systems, standard molecular biology techniques and hands-on-experience with standard analytical methods (HPLC/MS). Experience in industrial settings (GLP/GMP) is a plus, as well as previous experience with basic screening methods and robotics.
In this position you will lead your own projects. With your open character, you will closely interact with the other team members and get opportunities to realize your own ideas.
Minimum requirements
PhD in microbiology, molecular biology or biochemistry
- hands-on-experience with HPLC/MS
- strong background in microbiology
- highly –skilled in standard molecular biology methods
- hands-on-experience in protein purification and analysis
- excellent command of English (spoken and written).
