Job Description : Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences is seeking individuals for POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATES and research faculty with quantitative expertise in one or more of the following areas: hydrological modeling, water resources, land-use and land-cover change, land-atmosphere interactions, regional and global climate change. Preference will be given to the individual with strong interdisciplinary research experience related to the interactions among hydrological processes, land-cover, snowmelt runoff and climate change.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and show evidence of the capacity for producing high science quality. Fluency in written and spoken English, and knowledge of GIS and remote sensing are desirable.
