Postdoctoral position in Infectious Diseases Immunology Germany

One postdoctoral position is available in the division of Infectious Diseases/Immunology at the Centre for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medi-cine, University Medical Centre Freiburg. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with interest in cell based innate immune mechanisms. The project is designed to generate innovative models that combine random mutagenesis in gram-positive bacteria with signaling analysis in phagocytic cells. The ultimate goal of this study is the identification of bacterial factors that manipulate the host system. Experience in either bacterial or eukaryotic genetics is a prerequisite; knowledge in imaging would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be part of an international and aspiring re-search group. The initial employment will be for two years.
